As a small independent publisher, the volume of work we have fluctuates fairly dramatically.  We therefore work with a network of freelance professionals.

We are currently looking for:

 

Copy editors and proof readers

 

You will need to demonstrate significant practical experience, and a high degree of competence in Word and Acrobat.  Qualifications (eg from the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, or the Publishing Training Centre) are helpful but experience and competence are the key.

 

Graphic designers

 

No matter what the proverb says, books are judged by their covers.  If you are innovative, creative, and can demonstrate this with a portfolio of previous work, we would like to hear from you.
